Soooo magnificent Monday was a travel day…HERE I AM!

Happy Tuesday!!!

I was thinking of you all yesterday as I made my way home to the Mile High City 🙂

Boston was amazing to me as usual!!  My Love made it there for the big party weekend!!!!!

My Peanut was the best birthday girl!!!  She loves the attention 🙂  She lovessss me!!!  We had so much fun this past week!  We were silly, we played, we snuggled, she slept with me for a birthday sleepover.  I ATE IT UP!!!  I love that she loves me so much 🙂  I will do anything in my power to keep it like this forever!! (I know it won’t always be this awesome, she will eventually grow up and be too cool for me)

I had my longed for cheats: a banana split, really really good Italian, and as much seafood as we could!!  Now I’m back on track tomorrow.  Today we rest.

Do my bipolar friends have trouble with jet lag?  I’ve been finding that I’m cycling up and down more frequently and I have more trouble adjusting.  I wasn’t too up or down but I did have a couple of zombie days.  I rallied though!!!  All the more reason to have a day of rest, no guilt.

I had a travel headache but it was GONE by Wednesday morning!  Thank you Denver Neurological for your Botox miracle!!  WHOOP WHOOP!!!

So what do you all have for your goals this week?  I’m planning on 5 calls a day for my business.  I have 1 guest for my Friday ladies lunch already and I’m hoping to add at least a second one.  I will do 30 minutes at least of an audio book, because they need to get out of my phone. 🙂  I’m also going to do 30 minutes of physical book reading since I have at least 2 books going right now.  In addition to this I’m going to add a second blog post for the week.  2 posts a week!!  Do you want a recipe?  A book recommendation?  Pictures?  Some healthy hints…please comment under the post!!  I’m here for you to come on my crazy journey of healthy living and Winning the Day every day!

Some cheats, a hawk in the garden and Birthday Party Bonfire with beers and great people!!!

July trip to New England….HUGE WIN for the week!

My Mom, Peanut and I had ice cream!!

Killin it! Crushing it!! Whatever you call it, we’re doing it!! Beach body here I come ;)

Do you celebrate Easter?  or Passover?  Our Easter was very untraditional this year!!! We enjoyed the day with some  Laundry and Paleo turkey meatloaf with cauliflower mashed, and we got silly with lemon water!  Yup we’re out of control.

So today is Day 9 of our 10 Day Herbal Cleanse by Advocare.  We are machines right now!!  We truly needed a good swift kick in the butt and this did it, FINALLY!  We have worked out 6 out of 9 days!!  We have a lot of good stuff going right now!  Clean eating to the extreme…no sugar no dairy and no grains!  It’s not even hard really.  Fruit is candy for us…I’m about to have some candy in a minute…well, pineapple 🙂

The next part of the Challenge is the burn phase: replenishing all of the vitamins and nutrients that we cleansed out MINUS THE CRAP!!!  We’re staying on the track as clean as we are right now.  We’re each others accountability partners for the good right now and moving forward.  No more shenanigans!!!  Well I’m not going to lie and say we’ll never eat a pizza or never drink a beer…that’s not living!  BUT we will eat clean and we will train hard.  A cheat meal here and there is fine but it will not be the norm anymore!  We have too much that we want to be holding ourselves back by being uncomfortable in our clothes.  As of yesterday I was down almost 5 pounds.  I’ll take it, it’s a huge step in the RIGHT direction!!!

I love that we can be so great together on all fronts!!  My Love is my world!!!  We got chubby together so now we’ll get strong together!!!

We celebrated My Love’s birthday in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and we didn’t go crazy, thank goodness!  It’s just been so crazy for us for the past couple of months…this whole year so far really.  My Dad’s passing in January, Florida for my birthday in February, March brought a bunch of business travel for My Love and our Boston trip, and finally our Vegas adventure for My Love’s birthday at the beginning of this month…and trying to get back to normal…our new normal…..CLEAN EATING!!  We aren’t traveling, well let’s say I’m not traveling, for a couple of months.  I’m going to take it and use it to my benefit.  Ass kicking in concentration!!!  Make some great habits that I’ll be able to take on the road in July to Boston for my little Peanut’s 7th birthday…my goodness.  That little girl…oh man I can’t even begin to get going on her…she IS my happy place ❤ ❤ ❤  My niece!! I never knew true, unwavering, unconditional love until she was born.  I was instantly mush and so over the moon about her.  Another post for another time 🙂

Anyway, we are adapting very well!  My “rest day” was cleaning the house today, and I still got a good workout in scrubbing!  I’ll be glad to get to the gym tomorrow…the machines are calling me.  I’m kicking it up to cardio and weights…no more slacking!!  This week has been up and down with my days and my BiPolar Disorder.  When I change anything in my schedules I get a little tipsy.  Nothing that I can’t handle with a little extra eye on me from My Love.  He really is THE GREATEST GUY EVERRRRRRRR!!!!!  Ladies eat your heart out!! 🙂

On another note: I am so very proud of where I’m from!!!  Boston has rallied yet once again!!!  Never count us out!!  Boston Strong is a total and complete understatement!!!  What a difference a year makes!!!  I am Boston Proud!

Leave me some love so I know you were here!!!  I’ll follow you back!

Here’s what I’m working hard for now so in July, yum…Boston lobsters!!!  COME TO ME!!!!Image

Oh November!!!

So I’ve been a major blogging slacker!

We went to Boston for our niece’s Baptism and it was a super fast but super good visit.  5 days of food, fun, family, visiting and some church.  It was great to see my Peanut and my Chicken…well and Mom and Sister too 🙂  I love that I can go there and visit and be totally okay with returning to my home with My Love.  Does that make me a bad person?  I love my family but I’m a healthier and happier person being a little bit away.  We made sure we had all of our food Must Haves: Kelly’s Lobster Roll, amazing home made Italian food, and great pizza.  CHECK, CHECK and CHECK!!!  It was a super yummy visit!!  Now all I am craving is SUSHI!!!

How was your November?

How was your holiday?

Thanksgiving at our house was AMAZING!!

I’m happy with our holiday…and not so happy with the massive quantities of food that were consumed.  We did ROCK the leftovers though.  We had the super important leftover sandwich, open faced and gravy covered….BEST PART!!!!!  I saw that Paula Deen had a Turkey Minestrone Soup recipe going around Facebook and we needed to try it.  So delicious!!!!  The broth got eaten up by the other ingredients, still amazing!

As it is Cyber Monday and the 2nd of the month I’m hoping to continue my working out and reel in my eating.  I’ve been doing my workouts pretty consistently but I’ve been eating STUPIDLY!!!  You can’t workout 3 days a week and have pizza and drinks all the time.  I know better!!!  It’s a little bit tricky since My Love and I aren’t right on the same page fitness wise right now.  We will be soon, I just have to up my will power!!!  As long as we have healthy choices on hand and ready to go we should be good!!!

Oh my goodness I almost forgot to tell you: My Love put his notice in for his resignation from the stupid casino!!!!!!!  9 more shifts then he’s ALL DONE!!!!!  YAYAYAYAYYYYYY!!!

Once he finishes up his last shift we are ROAD TRIPPING TO MICHIGAN!!!!!  It’ll be the first time in 8 years that his whole family will be together for Christmas!!!  How excited is he?!?!?!?  I’m excited!!!  It’ll be a 2 day expedition each way but it’s nothing we haven’t done before…we did drive from Boston to Denver to get me here when I moved here 🙂  FUN!!!  We are certainly going to need some prepped and ready healthy choices for the road!!!  I’m so excited!!!  Can you tell!?!?  🙂

Pictured is how we supported Colorado Proud products on Thanksigiving 🙂  YUMMMMM!!!
