I’ve been an absolute slug lately!! It’s bad…..BUT I was tired of the couch JUST ENOUGH to get off of it finally today. I just had 2 days off but I felt very tired and blah and was doing well to not eat the whole house. For real it was bad!! I ate a whole bag of…..get this…..caramel corn mini rice cakes!! Hilarious really! Rice cakes…..at least it wasn’t candy or fried foods. I tracked it while shaking my head at myself. Oh Chrissi 🙄🙄🙄
Last week I gained the 1.4 that I lost the week before. How annoying. See I told you I’ve been a slug. I started my fight back today. I did 2 miles walking on the treadmill. I still have work to do so I can’t be stagnant yet!! Just gotta get moving!!
My Love is on the road this whole week, YUCK!! 😡 Me and Bailey are quite boring without him. He’ll be back Friday. Then I work Saturday and Sunday. Good times! We both have Monday off!!
I grabbed myself some fruit and caffeine before work and I’m pleased with my choices. 👍🏼 Seasonal mix of fruit was yummy!

I am ready for my week!! My Love is on the road until Friday so it’s just me and Bailey girl. I stuck with Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and this week’s color is Rock On. It’s a silver polish with tiny, dark flecks in it. I like it a lot although I will admit that it looks like the flecks are bubbles in the polish. Check it out!
See it could look like tiny bubbles. 💅🏼 My mani only lasted 3 days last week. I must’ve been rougher than usual. The bad ruined nail bed is halfway grown out already. This makes me happy!! 😁👍🏼

#manicuremonday was all set. I painted my nails in a timely fashion nice nice…..went to work and forgot all about posting. I never took the pictures, damn it! So I’m a day late again…..I’ll get it together one of these days. 😲💅🏼😉
I kept with my Sally Hansen Miracle Gel, they’re just so easy!! It’s called “S-Teal the Show”. It’s teal of course. The regular 2 coats is perfect with this one. I like it, it’s very different for me.

We are fresh off of vacation! Pooped doesn’t even begin to explain my level of exhaustion. I feel like the trip was great, lots of fun!! To say it was busy would totally be an understatement. We didn’t have any downtime at all. We went hard all 5 days. So many people to catch up with it was practically dizzying.
We ate the local cuisine. 😆 Kelly’s for lobster rolls, Kane’s for maple bacon donuts, why no?!?🍩 We went to Our pizza place. 🍕 Also we had some homemade Italian deliciousness, cleaned up tacos and some great Chinese. It really was fun being naughty. I didn’t weigh in last week since we were traveling, yes I know there’s WW in Saugus but a week off won’t kill me. Now that we’re home I’m totally reigning it in. Back to working the plan and staying accountable!! Friday’s weigh in should be interesting. 😳😳😳
Next up the garden!! I’m all ready to start it in my head now just to actually do it. I’m working all weekend so it’ll need to be Friday that I start it all. I have all of my notes. I got some purple garden accessories from My Love and My Pup because they love me!! 😍💜
We’re finally having some delightful weather!!! 🌞☀️😎 It’s pretty exciting!! Hopefully My Pup will be better behaved if we go exploring again. I can’t limit myself to walking only the neighborhood, how boring would that be?! ☺️🐶🐾

It’s almost vacation time!! 💜😁Tomorrow we’re leaving The Mitten to head to Boston!! I can’t wait to see everyone! Our last excursion to MA was for Momma’s 60th last year. The beginning of June to be precise.
I have a mental checklist spinning away in my mind. I have to work today so it’ll all have to wait until later on. How many days, how much clothes, of what kind of clothes, need comfy stuff and pretty stuff. Meds, can’t forget the meds….I’ve done that one before!! 😳😳😳😳 Makeup, money, shoes, jewelry…..goodness gracious!
At WW this week I had a HUGE gain and I can’t be certain why. It’s all part of the journey I know but it’s frustrating. Especially since I’m gonna be partaking in some rich deliciousness over the next 5 days. I’m gonna try to eat clean as much as possible but if I want something in particular just not everything in general. Gotta make smart choices!! I’m keeping my nails SUPER short while I grow out the acrylic damage.
It’s driving me bananas to have such short nails but they’re super thin, damnit. Patience is a virtue blah blah blah 😉

Spring in west Michigan is beautiful! Everything is sprouting and budding and looking great!!! That being said, the goddamn gray skies and rain stinks!! Today humidity has reared its ugly ugly head, I’m not impressed!! It’s time for me to get myself gardening gloves and get pulling on the weeds that currently live where I wanna see flowers, and vegetables!!
Last week at WW I stayed the same. Still a win to me. 😁 I finally made burrito bowls with the riced cauliflower and rotisserie chicken. It was a success for sure!! Easy and yummy, 2 must haves when My Love is away. It was just an overnight but it was way early Monday to way late on Tuesday, technically Wednesday. Gross! Poor love.
I had my appointment with my meds doctor Monday and we’re upping my antidepressant a bit to see if I can shake this funk. It’s been lingering far too long!! I hate it because I don’t even look like myself, my face looks different and my eyes look miserable. I’m uncomfortably quiet and I’m ready to fight I feel like.
I have had the opportunity to walk the neighborhood with my little furry love, Bailey of course!! The past 2 days we’ve walked the hood. 😁 Gorgeous spring weather for a few days until today. 🐶🐾🌷☀️

Next week Boston!! I’m looking forward to all of the fun we’ll have!! It’s been about 11 months! We’re hoping for good weather! We know the company and food will be great! So it WAS Wednesday and I want to talk about spring!! The days are longer, the temperatures are creeping up….the sun feels warmer and more lovely….I’m a sucker for spring fever!!! Baseball starts, all good stuff!! It leads me to want to be out. Any chance I get I want to have the sun on me. It also makes us want to start a garden, well it does for me. I’m still reading my garden book. 😁 It’s helping me to not trip over myself with the when where and how. Lord knows I make myself dizzy once I get something in my head. I still need to get me some purple garden gloves!! 😁😁😁 Anyhow I want to be out, we are out on the deck again with the tiki torches. We’re grilling….now we’ll need to prep more. It’s way too easy to just grab stuff that goes together: pasta salad, brats, hot dogs and potato salad is my ultimate weakness!! Lightened up stuff is the way to go for us. I’m down 23 pounds with Weight Watchers and I’m not done! I need to be super focused!! No distractions, well not until Boston! I am looking forward to the visit and the food! There’s nothing like Boston’s pizza, seafood and Italian food!! I’m gonna have to fit in some exercise for it all!!😁😂 2 weeks from today!!
Oh P.S. I’m still super sore from Monday’s Crossfit debacle 🏋🏼♀️😲
